About
‘Entrepreneur of The Year 2022’, Aman Gupta is an certified chartered accountant and the Co Founder of BoAt Lifestyle- India’s number one audio and ear wear brand.
He did his second degree in Masters in Business Administration from Kellog Graduate School of Management post which he decided to pursue his business.
Before co-founding BoAt, he worked for the audio giant Harman International as Sales Manager for India.
BoAt has emerged as one of the prominent homegrown direct-to-consumer brands, known for affordable and fashionable audio products.
The first product launched by BoAt was an indestructible charging cable and a charger. The consumers were facing a problem with Apple’s cable as they used to break near the charging, hence BoAt came up with a strong braided cable with a life cycle of 10,000 curves. The product soon became the best selling product on Amazon.
Aman Gupta’s company made Rs. 100 million in domestic sales in the first 2 years itself. Regardless of the pandemic his company managed to generate a whopping INR 500 crore income in the fiscal year 2020, which was an increase of 108.8% over the previous year.

Aman got featured on the list of ‘40 under 40 Achievers’ by Business World in 2020 and Economic Times in 2021.
He has won the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ in 2020 and ‘Lokmat Most Stylish Entrepreneur of the Year’ in 2021. In 2019, he won the ‘Businessworld Young Entrepreneur Award’ and also featured in the list of ‘Entrepreneur India Tech 25 Class’. He was the winner of ‘Super 30 CMO’s’ in the year 2020.
